Visiting Faculty

Visiting Faculty at IHRI are distinguished experts and innovators who bring specialised knowledge and a unique perspective to our programmes for a defined period. These roles are ideal for established academics or leading professionals from other institutions or sectors who wish to collaborate, share their cutting-edge insights, or cover specific curricular needs in our interdisciplinary environment. Visiting appointments typically involve focused teaching engagements, guest lectures, and/or mentorship within our innovative ecosystem.

Ideal candidates for Visiting Faculty positions will possess:

• A doctorate or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field (Health Sciences, Space Sciences, or related disciplines).
• A minimum of 10 years of significant professional experience in their respective area, demonstrating a strong track record of innovation or leadership.
• Proven experience in online teaching methodologies and engaging virtual learning environments.

Associate & Adjunct Faculty

IHRI's Associate and Adjunct Faculty are integral to delivering high-quality education, providing our students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in a flexible, part-time capacity. These roles are designed for dedicated professionals eager to contribute consistently to our online learning environment, serving as mentors and instructors who bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and real-world practice.

We encourage applications from candidates for Associate and Adjunct Faculty who possess:

• A doctorate or equivalent terminal degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in their respective area. or
• A master’s degree and 15 or more years of significant professional experience in their field.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering effective online instruction and fostering engaging virtual learning environments.

Note: While "Associate Faculty" at IHRI often implies a slightly broader engagement or seniority for those with doctoral qualifications, "Adjunct Faculty" are typically engaged on a course-by-course basis, primarily focused on teaching specific modules. Both roles are vital part-time contributions to our remote online programmes.
